Aug. 2013 - May. 2015Clarinda VictoriaManaging 12 sites assets which included dump trucks, dozers, compactors, loaders, excavators, semi-trailers, walking floors, large generators, large and small pumps, trailers, compressors, water trucks, street sweeper, utes and many more assets. Throughout this position I was able to collaborate with senior managers, supervisors, operational employees and support staff to ensure operations continued. I utilised JDE E1 to maintain maintenance records, setup scheduled service reminders for all assets. I raised and kept all invoices, quotes attached to each asset. I managed everything regarding all equipment from registrations to servicing, repairs and procurement of new equipment. Reporting on utilisation, cost per hour for machinery, using this data to strategically manage fleet to its optimal capacity and manage the expectations of operation guys. Reporting on cost of machinery and expected life, assisting with the tender of new equipment negotiating full life costs within the procurement of equipment. Negotiated with Williams Adam CAT service and maintenance costing to service all equipment within VIC & TAS, the price and contract which I negotiated was then used nationally for Cleanaway. Implementing telematics product in yellow gear to accurately report on usage, reporting on Ezy2C telematics on utilisation of semi-trailers / walking floor, using reports to manage costs. Implemented daily pre-starts, ensured all defects was repaired and implemented a process to rectify defects. Carried out site inspections of gear, ensuring all defects was fixed and the gear was being maintained. Built strong relationships with operational people, who assisted me in achieving a high standard for equipment.
