The Merchandise Physical Control project was implemented before schedule, within the budget, with zero errors in the first six months, and was given an award (Breaking Paradigms).
Worked directly in the planning, approving, executing, and supervising of all the activities that involved the database area and its interfaces with the stores' operational routines.
Managed teams related to maintenance and development of system projects connected to the area of store replenishment, pricing systems, basic records, and distribution of information within the company's data processing environments (Unix/Zin, Unix/ Oracle, MVS/Adabas- Natural, Netware).
Was the main IT executive responsible for defining, planning, and implementing the corporate data processing infrastructure, store backup with new corporate hardware (downsizing), corporate Windows NT network, network management, Workgroup tools, and integrated package of sales management for a new retail branch company, the seventh largest supermarket in the country at the time.
Participated in deploying SAP Retail, managing the teams responsible for the record interface modules, and sales automation.
