Jan. 2019 - Jan. 2022Sofia, Sofia City, Bulgaria- Helped the frontend team migrate one of the major Fourth apps from legacy Angular.js to a clean-slate React. This involved me creating a proper build configuration that helped them to gradually migrate features to React and later on remove Angular.js altogether. I also helped with the integration of the new build inside the existing CI/CD pipelines. During the integration state a man-in-the-middle HTTPS developement proxy was built;
- Worked on migrating from Cordova to a next-generation React Native-based application. This includes me building a "Plugin Manager" which abstracts the calls to the native Cordova/React Native features from the web-based application. This allowed for a gradual migration from a legacy Cordova app to a new React Native app.
- Implemented and documented an extensive migration plan which steered the ongoing migrations from Angular.js to React and from Cordova to React Native. Also worked on the next-generation React Native app and made sure its features matched the Cordova-version as closely as possible. Made sure everything is well documented and all the critical application parts are unit-tested.
