The team consists of 8 members working together to produce new features and patches monthly. The codebase is written in ASP.Net Framework 4.8 for the API and hybrid Angular app for the Front-End. During my stay, I contributed to the following but not limited to: -Creating new features for the creation, validation, and monitoring of campaigns that help stakeholders effectively market their products and services. -Creating new features for the Marketing Settings resulted in the stakeholders having more granular control of their marketing. -Creating new features for the reports related to the engagements resulted in the stakeholders having better insights into their audience. -Application of SOLID principles and a few design patterns by reducing a thousand lines of code of a class into smaller chunks of classes resulting in a more readable and maintainable codebase. -Application of defensive coding by carefully handling exceptions and null references that help improve the security and integrity of the system. -Refactoring a considerable amount of C# non-async methods into async that improves the system's performance. -Application of smart and representational Angular components to separate the concerns that make the app more maintainable for future development. -Application of declarative RxJS in Angular to eliminate/reduce a considerable amount of imperative, unnecessary, nested, and poorly written subscriptions to improve the app's performance while adhering to the best practices.

The company that I am working for is still in its early stage of digital transformation which gave me an opportunity to develop 35+ internal apps and integrations over the years that feature a lot of CSV reports, a "request-approve" data entry forms, and tailored applications for a specific use-case. My responsibilities include the design, implementation, and deployment of these apps that have helped many departments improve their productivity not limited to Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Credit. -With my skills dealing with CSVs and database manipulation, I was able to extract a 20-branches stand-alone banking data (D' Asian Hills Bank Inc.) that resulted in a successful data migration with 1VB in the 1st quarter of 2020. -I created more than 20 web-based portals using Angular, Laravel, and ASP.NET Core to allow the stakeholders access and download the reports they need. With these, the stakeholders will no longer have to request the reports from the IT Helpdesk manually. -With my knowledge in database development, I was able to optimize the slow running SQL scripts that resulted in a faster execution when querying data from 5-10 minutes to half a second. -I built a dashboard using Angular and ASP.NET Core that integrate all the types of action items in a centralized view to improve the user experience of the branch officers in checking their pending transactions before the end of the day.
