Jul. 2022I spent two weeks shadowing QVC director, Joe Swales. I got to grips with learning about budget management for the digital department and management of the financial team. I engaged with teams responsible for growing e-commerce across product categories and core digital platforms.

Apr. 2018 - Apr. 2018KensingtonThis role included a range of tasks such as working with the catalogue team at Rhino Records to update their catalogue scheme for all artists under Rhino Records. In addition to this, I worked on a pitch to the team at Atlantic records on ways to promote Haley Kioko’s tour to the U.K. Furthermore, I pitched to the team at Warner Bros and Atlantic records for ideas on the music video for Anne Marie’s track 2002. Workshops included Sync with Thomas Horley and the upcoming work he and his team are embarking on in partnership with River Island. I engaged in an A & R seminar with Joe Kentish and the rise of his recent addition to Warner Bros, Dua Lipa.

Champs Hill RecordsWork Experience

Apr. 2018 - Apr. 2018This experience was spent attending sessions for the recording of Cheryl Frances-Hoad’s Magic Lantern Tales. I shadowed the sound engineer Dave Rowell through the process of recording Nicky Spence and Sholto Kynoch in the live room. Time was also spent with Cheryl analysing the recording with reference to the score.

May. 2016 - May. 2016Abbey roadThis was spent with the sound engineer Simon Gibson at Abbey Road Studios. Simon went through in detail about the mastering and mixing process of many different tracks that he had worked on. This included analysing the recording of Coldplay’s 2012 Australia tour.
