After a month of work I was promoted to Coordinator of the newly created Training Division. My team came to be composed of nine highly trained professionals, all experts in their fields, and made the whole line based training on Linux Professional Institute LPI www.lpi.org I was also responsible for the introduction of technology in distance education, when we created the site www.aprendalinux.com.br to teaching the Linux Operating System, and the creation of professional certification Conectiva Linux . I made part of the coordination and have all my former employees as personal friends since then. At the beginning of 2001, due to my personal campaign for its creation, I was transferred to the newly created Department of Product Development as coordinator. After two months of work I was promoted to Manager. In that department I was responsible for creating new products and services based on Linux technology, having participated in the creation of the product line Conectiva Enterprise and coordinated teams responsible for version 7.0 Conectiva Linux . Also had the responsibility of being the focal point of the company in partnership with other major technology companies, primarily with IBM .
