GPS, refrigeration, and other data are sent from the truck, and configuration commands are sent from the server to the trucks via UDP. - Proposed new solutions and frameworks to management allowing our development team to be more productive in certain types of projects, cutting development time by as much as 70% in these cases. - Trained and mentored other developers in modern object-oriented concepts, N-Tier design and other .NET-related architecture and development topics.

After serving three years on the Executive Committee, two of those as Vice President, I became president in July 2005, and served as president for nine years. In addition to scheduling and running our monthly meetings, I also planned our annual Deeper in .NET conference, where we bring in a number of national speakers to talk about the most relevant and interesting topics in the .NET arena. After nine years as president, I decided to step away from active involvement in the group leadership to focus on other interests.
