Sep. 2019 - Oct. 2019SerbiaDuring internship in Desing Taste Center in Science Technology Park in Belgrade, and Desing's production site in Knjaževac I had a chance to learn about creation processes (from scratch) of specific products for pastry, confectionery, candy and ice-cream industry. This included use of specific raw materials and different ways of handling them, laboratory examination of physico-chemical and sensory parameters of quality, applying and testing company's products in products of their final application and learning about standards commonly used in food industry such as HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IFS, SQMS, GFSI, Halal and Kosher. In Knjaževac I had a chance to learn about different technologies used for food processing, specifically in fresh fruit and vegetable processing, and to do on-line examination of quality parameters in an on-site laboratory.
