May. 2020Santiago, Santiago Metropolitan, ChileLocales Conectados is a platform for local commerce in neighborhoods that allows people who have received some public or private benefit, in the context of the health, social and economic crisis, to make purchases of food and basic supplies in warehouses and services of their neighborhoods only with their identity card, being able to access the goods they need. This initiative is promoted by the Fundación Urbanismo Social and Laboratorio de Innovación UC (CoLab UC), and creates a local economy ecosystem based on collaboration between civil society organizations, public entities and private companies, to create comprehensive and articulated solutions that they put the development of people and their territories at the center.
