Our project aims to establish off-grid cold rooms sourced from an Indian partner, strategically located in farms and marketplaces. This initiative not only curtails waste but also boosts farmers' revenue by extending the freshness of produce.

By addressing the lack of cold storage due to unreliable power, our project tackles the significant financial losses in the fruit and vegetable sector. This solution extends product shelf life from 3 to over 21 days, thus increasing farmer income and mitigating climate change.

This is the solution

Our cold rooms offer farmers and retailers, especially women and girls, access to essential cold storage facilities. By prolonging the shelf life of perishables, we ensure reduced waste and improved market availability, directly benefiting the community.

Project Stage

Having successfully deployed three units in Nigeria, our focus now is on scaling operations. We are seeking impact investments to expand our reach and maximize the positive effects on local agricultural communities.
