Ensuring requirements are properly tracked and communicated through persona-based user stories with acceptance criteria. User stories, epics, initiatives and roadmaps are set up to align with business objectives and values and report progress against commitments. • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure my full understanding of their needs, and work together to define priorities and inform strategic decision making.
• Maintain team focus on business objectives by linking work items to epics and initiatives and, in turn, with corporate initiatives and values.
• Document and ensure adhesion to processes. E.g. Software Development Lifecycle.
• Map dependencies, processes, and product specs using visual tools such as Miro.
• Bring development teams in early so they are empowered to provide value in the decision making, as well as execution, and enable them to see the big picture.
• Create persona-based user stories with acceptance criteria, and use them to prioritize multiple agile teams’ workloads in Jira.
• Lead refinement and planning sessions and oversee sprint and kanban delivery.
• Remove blockers, manage risks and issues, monitor and report delivery metrics.
• React to priority business requests and changes to scope, while discouraging them.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure that good quality features are delivered within well communicated timescales and budgets.
• Foster and maintain a no-blame culture for rapid process improvements through straightforward retrospectives and change implementation.
