Irem is currently taking the role of the Regional Strategy Lead for Amazon & The Coca-Cola Company in the Eurasia and Middle East region at WPP Media.
With over 12 years of experience in marketing communications, she has worked with both client-side companies such as Hepsiburada (Turkish E-commerce company) and agency-side firms including Carat Turkey, Mindshare Turkey, and UM Qatar. She has played a key role in developing strategic solutions for prominent global brands like The Coca-Cola Company, Unilever, Vodafone, Ferrero, Nestle, Dyson, and many more. One of her memorable experiences was spending a year in Qatar, collaborating closely with the Supreme Committee Delivery and Legacy for the 2022 World Cup, which involved overseeing marketing communication strategies across 35 markets globally.
Academically, Irem holds a double major in Public Relations and Advertising and Psychology from Izmir University of Economics. She further advanced her expertise with a master's degree in Digital Marketing from Istanbul Bilgi University. Her international experiences, including a high school exchange program with AFS in Belgium and a summer college program at Walt Disney World Company in the USA, have enriched her intercultural skills and adaptability.
Committed to continuous learning, Irem actively pursues new qualifications and certifications in emerging fields such as Metaverse, AI, and data. She has been recognized with several awards and frequently serves as a judge in sectoral awards programs and as a keynote speaker at industry conferences and universities.
