Laura Clark is an experienced editor and writer with a robust background in both digital and print media. Prior to her role as an Editor/Reporter at Yahoo Entertainment and a Global Lead for the company's Native Americans employee resource group, Laura was the Editorial Director of Parenting at Wild Sky Media, overseeing two high-profile parenting sites, CafeMom and Mom.com.
Laura has covered entertainment in a variety of ways, including celebrity interviews with film and TV stars, including Pierce Brosnan, Elisabeth Moss, Zahn McClarnon, Amber Midthunder, Tom Hardy, Austin Butler, Halle Berry, Blake Lively and Jessica Alba, as well as trend pieces about box office and Gen Z. As Editorial Director of Parenting, CafeMom logged its highest month of traffic under WSM, and Mom.com tripled its organic sessions and increased its pageviews sevenfold. Not only that, but Laura helped launch CafeMom on Snapchat and managed dramatic year-over-year revenue growth. She has also worked on multiple editorial partnerships with brands, including P&G, HBO Max and Target, and has managed projects across teams in New York, Los Angeles and Bangkok.
A Los Angeles-based mother of two, Laura has been featured on ABC News Nightline, KTLA Morning News, Access Hollywood, The Insider, in the Los Angeles Times and the New York Times to discuss everything from parenting to Native representation to celebrity.
