Oasis House for Healing and Restoration was founded in April 2022. Our mission is to provide women victims of domestic violence with financial support, safety planning and housing, and programs that guide them from hurt to healed - including no-cost grief recovery courses. We will provide services that renew, recharge, and redeploy women whose lives have been impacted by domestic violence of any kind. We will also advocate for and assist with the creation of policies that protect victims. Northeast Ohio, where I reside, has the highest percentage of the state's intimate partner violence cases at 33 percent. 58 percent of women of color do not call the police out of fear that their abuser will strike again.
