I'm a data leader with 15 years across engineering, BI, product strategy, and team building — now targeting Head of Data roles at fintech, trading infrastructure, and quant companies where data isn't a support function, it's the product.
My career has moved in a deliberate arc. I started as an engineer — building pipelines, BI systems, and data infrastructure across public sector, fleet management, and regulated iGaming (Lottoland: 12+ jurisdictions, billions in annual betting turnover, compliance-grade financial data). I then grew into leadership, scaling a programming department from 5 to 26 people with a 93%+ retention rate, before moving into data product strategy at Wix — one of the world's largest SaaS platforms.
At Wix I spent five years embedded in a 300+ person data organisation, driving initiatives that outlasted the projects themselves. The work I'm most proud of: a documentation and knowledge platform that started as debt reduction and became the AI context layer for the entire data org — feeding MCP servers, AI bots, and automated tooling used by 150+ engineers. That's the kind of work I want to do more of: finding the leverage point, building the system, and once it runs itself, moving to the next one.
Outside of work I've spent the past two years building an automated trading system from first principles — studying risk models, universe construction, factor strategies, and systematic portfolio construction. What that gives me is genuine domain fluency: I understand how trading infrastructure works, how data feeds into strategy, and why data quality is non-negotiable in financial systems.
