Nic’s deal making clients have included leading global private equity funds including KKR, TPG and Carlyle, as well as smaller private equity funds, corporate and government clients. One of Nic’s favourite transactions was in advising the Norwegian shipping family, Wilhelmsen, on their seed investment in what became Qube, advising through to the company’s successful IPO some five years later. Qube today is Australia’s largest integrated provider of import and export logistics services.
More recently Nic has used his commercial and legal skills to help launch his own and friends’ technology startups, the most notable of which are Neara which is featured as one of Time’s 100 Most Influential Companies in 2024 and Medevac Flights which was awarded the AFR’s Fastest Growing Company in Australia during 2024.More...
