Alejandro Canonero is a globally recognized technology strategist and executive leader with more than 30 years of experience driving growth at the intersection of AI, SaaS, cloud, and platform ecosystems. He is the author of War of the Ecosystems: Strategies for Dominating AI, Cloud, and SaaS Platform Businesses, a landmark book that distills decades of experience into frameworks for navigating and winning digital platform battles.
He has held senior leadership roles at Google, AWS, Amazon, Criteo, Hewlett-Packard, and Kyriba, where he built, scaled, and transformed global partner ecosystems, alliances, and go-to-market strategies. At Criteo, he co-designed and launched the Criteo Partner Program, Commerce Academy, and revenue-share operating models. At AWS, he led cloud marketplace adoption strategies, accelerating ecosystem revenue and shaping partner growth models across EMEA. At Google, he worked on platform commercialization strategies that helped scale advertising and cloud revenues globally.
As Partner & Alliances Director (CEMEA) at Kyriba, Alejandro spearheaded strategic alliances with hyperscalers such as AWS, developing partner pipeline frameworks, marketplace GTM programs, and cross-functional workshops that aligned sales, product, and services organizations.
Beyond corporate leadership, Alejandro is a faculty member at Foundarity, where he teaches startup and scale-up founders how to design ecosystems around their technology to accelerate product adoption and market success.
