JAMILA DRAPER, is currently the General Manager at the Trinidad and Tobago Association for the Hearing Impaired. She has over 25 years professional experience in the Financial Services industry, fifteen of these having been spent within the Credit Union movement in Trinidad and Tobago progressing over the years into more and more senior managerial positions. She holds a B.Sc. Degree in Agri Business Management from the University of the West Indies as well as an LCCI Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations. She also holds Professional Certification in AML/CFT from the AMLFC Institute in conjunction with UWI Arthur Lok Jack School of Business and the University of St. Thomas as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from the University of South Wales. She is the Co-founder and Co-Chair of the Trinidad and Tobago Sister Society (the local arm of World Council’s Global Women’s Leadership Network) and has served on the Boards of AFETT (Association of Female Executives of Trinidad and Tobago), the Association of Compliance Professionals of Trinidad and Tobago as well as the Caribbean Credit Union Managers Association. She has also been involved in adult education, having delivered courses at the Institute of Training and Development (INTAD), Trinidad and Tobago Business Etiquette and Protocol Specialists (TTBEPS), and most recently UWI ROYTEC.
