Currently, I am the Communications Officer at eThekwini Municipality where I am responsible for writing of content for press releases; features; brochures and digital platforms and other municipal publications. I also host the City’s podcast, eThekwini Matters where I profile municipal municipal officials, including Directors of units on different municipal programmes. I have worked in the City’s media relations unit for one year, responding to media enquiries, writing opeds, arranging media interviews and media briefings. I am currently providing Communication support to the mayoral office where I provide communication support to the mayor and deputy mayor.

I possess an Honours Degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Social Science Honours degree in Media and a BTech Degree in Journalism.
