I began my career in the environmental field and continue to have a strong interest in topics such as sustainability, risk and climate change, ecosystem protection, environmental education, and environmental-focused investments (ESG). I worked for several years in academia and the private sector, conducting research and teaching in these fields. Subsequently, after graduating with my MBA, I became exclusively involved in the private sector as a project leader, consultant, manager, and director, primarily in the information technology industry and retail. I have been fortunate to lead highly technical teams as well as large sales groups. The main companies I have worked with are the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, IBM Mexico, Xerox Mexicana, and El Puerto de Liverpool. I currently own a small financial firm and participate as a partner in several companies, where I occasionally get involved in specific marketing or operations projects.
