I’ve truly enjoyed building my career at Trident Medical Center for the past 30 years. I began in the Emergency Room registering patients, then transitioned to the Admitting Department—an area that no longer exists. From there, I gradually made my way up to the second floor, working in Labor & Delivery as an OB tech. During that time, I was also attending classes to earn my LPN nursing license.
After becoming an LPN, I worked in Mother Baby and the Level II nursery in that role for two years while pursuing my associate degree. Once I completed it, I officially began my journey as a Labor and Delivery nurse—a role I proudly held for 23 years.
