From being the little girl who sold shares in her "company" and played HR (even firing her own mother!) to the traveling People Operations Specialist, author, and international speaker that she is now, Katherine has had quite a journey!
She has spent the last decade working with organizations across the nation to build or repair their HR, TA, and HRTech functions with a focus on universal design. Katherine has become a leading expert in her field and is regularly called upon by governing bodies, professional organizations, and charities to speak and teach her innovative methods. In 2021 Katherine, without a background in IT, designed and oversaw the build-out of the first ever anti-bias ATS, a product design now being bought out by another HRTech organization.
Operationally, she has helped multiple companies get off the ground by establishing policies and procedures, developing departments and training, establishing and maintaining vendors and partnerships, co-creating branding, and more.
In Recruitment, Katherine has designed programs for start-ups to enterprise level organizations which yield industry-high results. Once such a project, run with only five staff members, landed 256 onboarded hires within two days! She also has tremendous success with employee relations and retention, averaging 34% increases in team satisfaction. One of her most successful DEI and employee-wellness initiatives is the Make Accommodations Standard program which has saved companies thousands, skyrocketed their employer brand, and carries an average productivity increase of almost 30%.
