Jules Rico (they/she) is a Camera Assistant and emerging Camera Operator based in New York City and an Associate Member of the Society of Camera Operators (SOC). Who specializing in documentary filmmaking. Their work is driven by social justice and gender politics .They aim to use storytelling through the lens to explore the complexities of social issues. Jules has been part of notable projects including 2025 Tribeca Film choice “My Mom Jayne” and 2024Tribeca Film choices “ I’m Your Venus”, “Guad Gods” and “Satisfied” as 1st AC.
Jules has also demonstrated their adaptability through their work as 1st AC on short films, nonprofit art films, and commercials, including the first-time-ever Super Bowl 2023 Mets advertisement, “Going Dark: The Contemporary Figure at the Edge of Visibility” commercial for the Guggenheim and Barilla’s Pasta Day 2024.
