Kristaps Andrejsons is a journalist in Latvia and the creator of The Eastern Border podcast - the oldest and largest in the Baltic states. An expert on the USSR and modern Eastern European politics, he's published multiple articles for Foreign Policy Magazine and been invited as an expert on Ukraine war to The Telegraph podcast among many other media appearances. He's been on the forefront of war journalism, having reported from the front lines of the Ukraine war four times during this war - Kristaps was among the first to report on the horrific events in Bucha and his work has not gone unnoticed - Kremlin has tried to silence him through various means including two assasination attempts. Kristaps is an expert of risk management in high-stress situations and organising media work and producing content in dangerous work environments. He's also tought classes in conflict journalism in Warsaw, Poland in cooperation with the Piletski institute and represented the Baltics as an invited speaker in two communication science conferences dedicated to podcasting in Harvard - Sound Education 2018 and 2019.
