I have a long career in Civil Engineering Project Management with TECINA, S.A. in Haiti. I have been heading the company team that looks for bid calls for Civil hydraulic construction projects, prepares the submittals and coordinate with the company board before submittals. Over the past 30 years, we have been involved in projects ranging from USD 3 to 12 Millions. Projects have been successfully executed to the satisfaction of the owners of public infrastructures, like the Ministry of Public works and communication, the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Funding for most of those projects have come from the World Bank and the Interamerican Development Bank.
My educational background is Civil Engineering Bachelor degree from New York Universty, Master of Sciences in Hydrodynamics and Water Resources from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 1969. I hold a Professional Engineering License from the State of New York.
I have excellent proficiency in both french and the english languages, as well as in Haitian Creole. I have gained familiarity with Copilot in looking for information and preparing proposal presentations. I have gained the practise of working in remote when managing projects.More...
