Dr Fiona Malcomson is a nutrition and cancer researcher with extensive experience leading large-scale cohort studies and interdisciplinary research on diet, lifestyle, and chronic disease prevention, particularly cancer. Her work integrates dietary patterns, nutritional biomarkers, and molecular data to understand cancer risk, survival, and long-term health outcomes, with a strong focus on translating evidence into actionable insights for population health and healthcare decision-making.
She is also an experienced university lecturer with a strong track record in teaching and mentoring across nutrition, epidemiology, and biomedical sciences. She is highly skilled at communicating complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences and supporting students and early-career researchers to develop rigorous, impactful research skills.
