Lebogang Moatshe is an internationally award-winning Medical Biological Scientist and certified Embryologist registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). With a BSc and BSc Honours in Medical Biosciences from the University of the Western Cape, she brings both academic excellence and hands-on expertise in reproductive biology, patient care, and IVF lab operations.
She has held key roles at Genesis Reproductive Centre, Sthemba Fertility Centre, and Steve Biko Academic Hospital, where she developed strong competencies in IVF procedures, cryopreservation, quality control, and regulatory compliance. As a Junior Embryologist and IVF Lab Coordinator, she has successfully managed lab workflows, optimized protocols, and facilitated seamless communication between clinical teams and patients.
Lebogang is also a passionate fertility patient educator and digital health communicator. Her experience as a creative health content designer has allowed her to simplify complex fertility information, using digital platforms to support patient understanding and emotional well-being. Through her work, she strives to empower individuals and couples on their fertility journeys with knowledge, empathy, and clarity.
