Oliver is a seasoned Environmental Scientist & Engineer, and currently he is the Chief Consultant for SustiGlobal Consulting firm. He holds an MSc in Industrial Ecology & Environmental Management (from the University of Zimbabwe), a BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Environmental Sciences, a National Certificate in Civil Engineering (HEXCO), Currently he is concluding a BSc in Civil & Structural Engineering with the Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) in Australia). In the past fifteen (15) years, Oliver directed and managed more than two hundred fifty (250) ESIAs, baseline and feasibility studies on infrastructure, power generation, high voltage power transmission, water & sanitation (WASH), waste management, telecoms, and mining projects in twelve (12) SADC Main-land countries. He deeply understands social safeguards through his exposure to World Bank, AfDB and EU funded projects. Oliver was the Environmental Professionals Council of Zimbabwe (EPCOZ) board President from 2020 to 2023. He is a former legislator that once served as a member of Parliamentary Portfolio Committees on Energy & Power Development, Environment & Climate Change and Foreign Affair & International Trade. He is a champion for; Green Economy, Circular Economy, Cradle to Cradle Designs, Industrial Symbiosis, Low Emission Development Strategies (LEDs) and other topical sustainability tools. Lastly, Oliver holds the following memberships and fellowships.
• An honorary fellow member of the Environmental Professionals Council of Zimbabwe (EPCOZ) which is a professional body.
• A professional natural scientist registered with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) in the field of Environmental Science.
