One of my favorite trainings I ever participated in was a partnership with Axios, focused on Smart Brevity. So, here we go: Words: 320 words Time to read: 1:17 minutes I specialize in creating stories for people, projects and programs, ultimately maximizing the success of a given company or brand. Throughout my 15+ year career with industry-leading enterprises including Nike, Disney and Adidas, I have been recognized for my ability to elevate brands, raise awareness and reach the right audiences in unique and dynamic ways. I’ve always had four goals under the communications and marketing umbrella - to work in-house, on the agency side, as a consultant and to give back to any community that I’ve been fortunate to be a part of. And I’ve been fortunate to check off all four in that order. Each contributed to the hard and soft skills that I can bring to the table and raise my hand for in advocacy for myself in this role. Working on the agency side, I learned how to read a room, how to say, “yes, and,” how to work the longest hours to the bone with the best people in the industry. And to make the best memories. Working in-house, I was able to understand what creative partners brought to the table and I was able to fully immerse myself in one brand identity so that I could be its greatest champion. As a consultant, I was able to hone the business acumen - the left side of my brain and realize the gaps and nuances that hadn’t necessarily been overshadowed by bold and bright thoughts, but now even more fully commit to a client’s narrative and ultimately their bottom line. And giving back. Taking all of the above, celebrating the communities that each project, each program, each person that I’ve worked with impacted in some way and remembering why I do what I do. I would love to be considered for this role or any on your team with a passion for the mission of the work that you do. Please reach out with any questions.More...
