Vaughn Bullard is an entrepreneur, technology thought leader, published technical author, content management professional, and open source advocate. He has vast, multi-level experience as a software developer, project manager, strategic enterprise architect, and CTO. Building on that industry expertise, he has been an author and editor of many SOA, web services, and healthcare standards published by the OASIS and The Open Group standards bodies.
He has successfully designed, developed and participated in the strategic and enterprise architecture implementation of high-availability information systems for many international customers, in all industry verticals. In his 30+ year career as an international IT and healthcare executive, he has deftly executed cost-saving measures that have saved customers and taxpayers millions in previously unrealized revenue. Mr. Bullard is also responsible for the strategic architecture roadmap for the MassHealth Medicaid system, with over $20Bn in claims processing each year.
His core strategic business skill sets revolve around batch processing and claims in the healthcare, risk management, securities, and banking industries with an end-state push toward Event Driven architectures.
