I have worked in municipal Human Resources since 2001, beginning my career at the City of Las Vegas in Nevada. I occupied a range of progressively responsible positions from Office Specialist to Insurance Specialist, specializing in Risk Management and then Employee Benefits and Workers' Compensation. In 2015, I took a position as the Labor Relations Program Manager for the City of Reno in Northern Nevada. In that role, I managed 10 labor contracts, participated in labor negotiations, and conducted Employee Relations investigations and training. My work at the City of Reno culminated in becoming the Director of Human Resources.
