With 18 years of experience, including 12 as a class teacher in KS1 and EYFS, my career has been defined by creativity, leadership, and a drive for excellence. From inspiring young minds as Co-Head of Art at St James Nursery and Preparatory School to shaping operational strategies as Operations Manager at Praeter Ltd, I’ve built a diverse skill set that blends education, management, and creativity. My time as a university rower, where I captained the women’s crew for two years, taught me the value of teamwork, resilience, and leading by example—qualities I bring to every role.
From my experience teaching in a variety of schools—both in the state and independent sectors—as well as my time working as a horse-riding instructor, I have honed my client-facing skills, with a strong emphasis on clear communication and adaptability.
Outside of work, I love adventuring in the great outdoors through endurance sport. I’ve completed a few trail and road marathons, open water marathon swims (non-wetsuit), and two charity cycle tours (London to Paris in 2022 and East London (South Africa) to Cape Town in 2025). In June 2024, I was part of a pioneer relay team, 'The D-Day Dash', to swim 107 km across the English Channel, from Eastbourne to Normandy, in honour of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
At Praeter, I channel this determination, creativity, and collaborative spirit into my role. My passion for the environment and sustainability drives my commitment to helping businesses transition to clean energy through innovative solar PV solutions. By combining my artistic background, operational expertise, and environmental focus, I strive to deliver meaningful impact and continuous improvement in everything I do.More...
