Rob Warner's passion for all things sports and fashion, and that which connects them, goes back to the heyday of the late 90s.
His journey within the Fashion Design industry began with a degree BA (Hons) in Fashion Design with Technology from Manchester Metropolitan University, which resulted in an immediate hire by PUMA UK and a quick transfer to HQ in Germany. During his six-year tenure with the company, Rob eventually led the apparel design team across all performance divisions as Creative Directing Manager.
Rob’s achievements at PUMA included designing the first ever fully-bonded football shirt, worn by 2006 World Cup winner Italy, and the uniform worn by Usain Bolt at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Rob was recruited by Nike shortly after their takeover of the historic football brand, Umbro. Rob’s final role in Manchester was Creative Director, leading design and development across all product categories.
His most recent corporate assignment was Design Vice President at lululemon in Vancouver, Canada. Working across performance, lifestyle and innovation, Rob’s international experience played a part in the exponential growth of the men’s division.
In 2016, Rob created Spark with his close friend and business partner, Craig Buglass. Leveraging their experience as global creative directors, they help brands on their journey, visualising what the future could and should look like, and strengthening the way they connect to their audience.
