My goal is to maximize profits and efficiency by improving processes and procedures using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Lean Manufacturing principles, and setting up an organized Quality Management System to ensure those improvements are realized and maintained. - Increasing efficiency 18% by implementing a Kanban system and changing the floor layout to promote ease of movement and decrease clutter.
- Reducing department spending by over $40,000 per year by analyzing resources and requirements, adjusting work procedures, making decisions based on historical data, and reducing the processing time.
- Reducing Raw Material cost by $1.5MM by using data collected, applying correlation modeling and evaluating specification limits.
- Reducing Lead Time by 1 week by using Value Stream Mapping and attacking high waste areas and eliminating Work In Progress stages
- Qualifying alternative suppliers and materials for all product lines, including suppliers that gave the organization more of an environmentally friendly presence in the market.
