๐ Alex's academic foundation includes a BSc in Aerospace Engineering from Ryerson University in Toronto, a MSc in Management, Technology, and Economics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich), and a certification in Customer Focused Marketing from London Business School.
๐ผ Alex's professional background includes experience in Strategy Consulting at Arthur D. Little, Energy Assets at Alstom and Energy Trading at Axpo. As Project Portfolio Manager and later responsible for Marketing Europe, Alex was responsible for identifying promising projects in renewable energy power plants, energy products, and larger IT projects with investment volumes ranging from 0.3 to 250 million CHF. He took over 50 projects from idea to implementation in 6 years, honing his skills in developing a process to minimize risk and maximize success, based on external and internal factors and the knowledge of an expert network.
๐ฑ Since then, Alex has founded and exited Cosmobutler, a digital marketplace, and founded simpley.ai, an all-in-one AI-based website and marketing SaaS for hotels.
