Mr. Olosunde’s practice is in employment, patent, criminal and national security law with a focus on counterterrorism and including investigation, disruption and prosecution of terrorist actors. Prior to his work with the USDOJ, Mr. Olosunde was a senior prosecutor with the Office of Special Narcotics for the City of New York. Over the course of his decade long stint as a Manhattan assistant district attorney, Mr. Olosunde has tried scores of jury trials to verdict and conducted hundreds of investigations of narcotics gangs, large scale narcotics traffickers, and transnational criminal drug organizations.
Most recently, Mr. Olosunde, as part of a specialized international detail with the Federal Ministry of Justice, Federal Republic of Nigeria, led a team of over two dozen attorneys who drafted and successfully passed legislation concerning piracy and other maritime offenses that is now black letter law in Nigeria.
