Gerard Madrinan attended the University of South Florida for both his bachelors degree in music education and masters degree in instrumental conducting.
Gerard taught middle school for two years, Elementary School for six years, and has completed his 12th year at Seminole high school. He was a marching member of the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps.
In 2024, Gerard was named Pinellas County School’s Teacher of the Year. In this same year, Seminole High won the FMBC Class 4A State Championship and marched in the 2025 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California.
