Joey Taylor is a Brand Designer and Brand Strategist with 6 years’ experience across food, drink, wellness and biotech. She is the sole Brand Designer and Brand Strategist at GHST KTCHN, a retro catering food manufactory and the only business in the UK creating custom mobile kitchens tailored to each customer’s needs. Joey leads brand thinking from the outset, planning strategy, shaping creative direction, and supporting teams to execute work clearly and consistently across every touchpoint. Her focus is on making sure ideas work in practice, not just in theory.
She specialises in turning complex ideas, systems and technologies into clear, useful brand outcomes. Her work includes simplifying biotech innovation for Green Bioactives and launching packaging and positioning for wellness supplement brand KUDU. Design for its own sake is not part of her approach. Everything must have a clear purpose.
Joey has a neurodivergent, pattern driven way of thinking and is naturally curious. She asks why to properly understand problems and how people will interact with what is being built. She is comfortable working through uncertainty and complexity rather than rushing to neat answers.
Finding sport and fitness later in life has shaped how she works, reinforcing the value of consistency, resilience and long term thinking. Outside of work, she is a foodie and health focused, drawing inspiration from people, places and environments that feel considered and human.More...
