Joshua Budiman, an Indonesian entrepreneur and author from Jakarta, was born in 1993.
In 2014, he began his career journey with a bicycle & $150 in savings, no house or network to begin with, foregoing privilege to pursue his dreamboard, which he fulfilled by the age of 26.
In 2017, Joshua co-founded his first brand agency, Pista Media, which by 2019 had earned the trust of over 100 brands.
In 2020, he initiated the biggest entrepreneurship festival in East Java with partners, joined by 60+ speakers, 6500 participants from 21 cities in 3 days. The same year Joshua started writing the first book. In 2023, Joshua released his first self-reflection life philosophy book titled, What Really Matters.
In 2021, he delved into the world of web3, establishing the GGWP CLAN community, which successfully supported 11 web3 projects, with the highest achieving a 225x return and reaching a market cap of $160 million.
In 2022, Joshua and four co-founders started Sekuya bootstrapping for 2 years with GGWP CLAN, rejected by 200+ VCs, before then raised $2.2m in early rounds in 2024.
Sekuya is a community-born web3 gaming company, building Anime MOBA RPG game, racing, social platform and more, with 180+ community networks in South East Asia.
