Joseph Stead is the Founder and Managing Partner of Stead & Associates, PLLC, where he focuses on business, corporate, and estate planning while working closely with associates and staff on client matters. He founded the firm in 2021 to help individuals and small businesses grow and protect their wealth, drawing on his entrepreneurial upbringing and academic background in business management, finance, and law. Joseph earned his B.S. in Business Management and MBA in Finance from Niagara University and his J.D. from Duquesne University, where he concentrated on corporate governance, securities, and emerging technology regulations. Prior to practicing law, Joseph worked in banking in the treasury operations and risk management departments of major banks. Earlier in his career, he honorably served six years in the United States Air Force, including a combat tour in Afghanistan, receiving the Afghanistan Campaign Medal. These experiences instilled in him the values of integrity, service, and excellence, which guide his professional practice.
