I am an American residing in Tokyo, with 33 years of finance/investment banking experience in Asia, having worked in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, and Japan. I held various Chief Operating Officer roles over the years in both the financial sector as well as philanthropy institutions, I have broad experience in Equities, Human Resources, Strategy, Governance, Audit as well as Information Technology.
Having lived and worked in Japan over the last 35 years, I have dedicated the last 19 years working in philanthropy groups, the current role being a middle person between Investors and NPOs and Social Enterprises in relation to their funding requirements. Prior to this, I worked with Nomura International (Hong Kong), Barclays Capital (Japan), CLSA Credit Lyonnais Securities (Tokyo) and West LB Securities Pacific, Ltd(Tokyo) where I assumed the roles of Chief Operating Officer/Operations Director.
