Victoria Roper is an integrative biology researcher at Rogers State University whose work focuses on how organisms respond to environmental change. Her research integrates ecology, physiology, and microbiome science to understand how immune systems, microbial communities, and environmental conditions interact to shape organismal health and adaptation. She is particularly interested in host–microbe relationships, eco-immunology, and the ecological mechanisms that influence development and survival in wildlife. In addition to her research, she mentors students through hands-on projects that allow them to investigate real biological questions in field and laboratory settings. Outside of research and teaching, she enjoys hiking and photography, often capturing wildlife and natural landscapes.More...
