Job Description

In this full‑time residential support role you build trusting relationships and provide day‑to‑day care: morning routines, school or in‑house education, shared meals, activities, and evening wind‑downs. You also help children access therapy, develop independence and engage positively with the local community.

Required skill set

• Provide child‑centred, trauma‑informed care every day • Build positive, trusting relationships with each young person • Promote education, health, emotional wellbeing and independence • Support activities in and outside the home and community inclusion • Maintain records, follow safeguarding and compliance standards

Salary data and job offers

• Qualified: £13.25 per hour; Unqualified: £12.75 per hour • Sleep‑in shifts paid at £60 per night • Full‑time contracted hours • 4‑week face‑to‑face induction with internal and external trainers • Ongoing bespoke development plan and support for Level 3 Diploma
