Sarah van Mosel is Executive Director of PVBLIC Media, the media division of the PVBLIC Foundation, where she leads the development and deployment of media campaigns that support global causes and social impact initiatives. Her work focuses on aligning brands, nonprofits, and institutions around shared objectives through purpose-driven media strategy.
Before joining PVBLIC, van Mosel served as Senior Vice President of Podcast Strategy at SiriusXM and held executive roles at iHeartMedia, including Executive Vice President of Podcast Revenue and Strategic Advisor. Prior to that, she was Chief Revenue Officer at Stitcher, where she oversaw advertising strategy during a period of significant growth and eventual acquisition.
Her background includes building and scaling monetization infrastructure across multiple podcast networks. At Market Enginuity, she served as Chief Podcast Sales and Strategy Officer, developing revenue strategies for PRX, Radiotopia, TED Talks Daily, and The Moth. Earlier, she launched Acast’s U.S. operations and signed key partners such as BuzzFeed, Mic, Conde Nast, and First Look Media. At New York Public Media, van Mosel was Vice President of Sponsorship, where she created the advertising and tech foundation for Radiolab, Freakonomics, and Here’s the Thing with Alec Baldwin, while helping to launch WNYC Studios.
van Mosel was a founding member of the IAB Podcast Working Group in 2013 and served as co-chair for several years, helping shape industry standards for podcast measurement. She currently mentors students at NYU Steinhardt’s entrepreneurship program and serves on the board of Death by Duck Games, a company creating interactive podcast-based games.More...
