Ana Fraile is a documentary filmmaker at PulpoFilms. Based in the global south she has a decade of experience in storytelling and innovative visual style since 2010. Ana has directed and produced numerous documentaries that explore social justice and environmental issues. She did her college at UWC-USA were she fell for film studies and art. After a few years in Argentina in the Art School in University she went back to an international school to graduate as screewriter at the International Film School in San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba) in 2000. She worled in different production companies working on documentary and fiction projects and also restoring the 16mm archive of the Film Museum in Buenos Aires. Later she decided to start producing her own films and her first feature documentary was released in 2010 winning the Best Documentary Prize given by the Argentina Film Academy. This award was the push to create Pulpofilms together with her life long film partner Lucas Scavino. She produced and directed her own documentary films and also produced for novel directors. Ana's passion for impactful narratives drive her work and inspires change and awareness through the power of film. She has a Master on human rights and is currently a Phd Student in Argentina.
