From Morovis, Puerto Rico, holds a master's degree in community social work from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. He has completed certifications in school social work, the development of solidarity agricultural microenterprises, and agroecological promotion. From 2016 to 2021, he worked at the Puerto Rico Model Forest, where he held roles aimed at strengthening coalition work, community organizing, advocacy, and General Coordination. He currently serves as the Sustainable Agriculture and Environment Manager at the Hispanic Federation Puerto Rico, where he manages programs and leads advocacy campaigns and public policy efforts benefiting the agricultural sector and rural communities in Puerto Rico. He is a founding member, community social worker, and president of the Cabachuelas Work Cooperative (CABACOOP), an entity that leads a community-based ecotourism project focused on the management and conservation of the Las Cabachuelas Natural Reserve in Morovis. There, he coordinates the efforts of the Community Outreach Program.
