Job Title: Head of accounting services
Responsibilities:
1. Lead all financial operations (for example: cost calculation, accounting of goods movement in accordance with customs procedures and INCOTERMS, accounting of advertising, marketing goods and services);
2. Management of assignments of accounting consulting companies in Cyprus (and other EU countries), the UAE, the USA (4-6 consulting firms in various jurisdictions);
3. Managing the accounting team on a daily basis;
4. Preparation of VAT returns in the EU (quarterly VAT, monthly VIES);
5. Working with the company's tax representatives in the EU;
6. Preparation of accounting information for reporting in the UAE (Dubai, Fujairah);
7. Transfer pricing in Montenegro, the EU, and the UAE;
8. Calculation of differences between IFRS and GAAP, as well as country-specific accounting rules for consolidated reporting;
9. Recruitment, management and development of team members (primarily in Montenegro);
10. Optimize, automate, and improve financial and tax reporting to provide useful information to various stakeholders;
11. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations;
12. Provide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting policies and procedures; 13. Liaise with external auditors and other financial professionals.
