Bekky Berg worked as a production assistant for commercials, assistant director for ZDF and script coordinator for the UFA SERIAL DRAMA-SERIES UNTER UNS before she went to the the Masterschool Drehbuch Berlin to become a writer for film & TV. Her first own short film was shown at seven festivals across Europe and nominated twice for nominated twice for best short film. As a teenager she won the prize for human rights for her newspaper article “Rise like a Phoenix”. Berg continues to campaign for human rights, especially emotional abuse and anti-slavery. In 2022, she published her first novel Nachtigall - In der Not, after writing several successful short stories such as “The Librarian” on Amazon under the pseudonym R.C. Gayer were published.
