Tiffany Herron is an emerging writer with an MA in English, Creative Writing. She was awarded the SEARCH grant and was able to research the story of the group of women shot in Chattanooga by the KKK in 1980 and has since been co-producer for the award winning documentary How to Sue the Klan based on this story. Tiffany’s poetry and fiction are an eclectic mix of genres, and she is working on a creative non-fiction memoir which follow her journey of discovering her biological family and Pacific Island roots. Tiffany has published in Catalpa Magazine, the Samoa News, the program for Lemonade the Lecture, and in Clemson University’s literary magazine Chronicle. She has participated in creative writing workshops lead by notable authors Jose Olivarez and Jericho Brown and was invited to read for the Plug Poetry Project, the Hunter Museum's Vision + Verse: Women's Voices/Bearing Witness, as well as NPR-WUTC's Richard Winham Show.More...
