Currently he is Strategic Advisor to Space Analytics global non-profit organized to equip governments, commercial clients, NGOs – Non-profits with satellite observation data products, downscaled by physics-informed deep-learning analytics, to enable climate change analyses, enhance environmental services; monitor and manage water resources, predict and therefore mitigate natural and-or the results of anthropogenic effects.
Previously he represented a promising, Asia-based start-up, as Managing Director / VP, Americas marketing a no-code, API-driven, out-of-the-box multiline, omni-channel, distribution, policy administration, and claims system. Supported a global insurer to stand up a unique indexed-based insurance ecosystem that combines remote sensing, geodesics, and a multi-dimensional algorithm to process underwriting and claims in near real-time.
As a management consultant, he has been instrumental in the global strategy, launch, and development of insurers and Insurtech globally such as QBE, Ping An, China Life, Sun Life, Bradesco, DXC and NRI. Further, he continues to advise insurance clients globally today finalizing the international expansion of a leading North America high-net worth insurance company. He continues to advise insurance clients globally supporting their internationalization, distribution and process improvements, and new product development.
Prior to his consulting career, Dr. Oakey was an adjunct faculty member in Business Management, Sociology, Demography, and Anthropology.
